The network service point is the coordination point of the European Network of Sports Academies. It represents and supports the interests of the network. In cooperation with its European partners, the service center is dedicated to shaping the future and helping to shape cooperation in European sport.
It supports projects and measures at interregional and European level in order to further promote and develop the cross-border and European idea of sport development and sport education in Europe. The opportunities for European project funding are taken up for the partners and further developed together.
The European Network of Sports Academies is an association of almost 20 academies and educational institutions from eight European countries. It was founded on January 29, 1999 in Trier. Among other things, it has set itself the task:
• Organization and coordination of joint measures and encounters in European sport;
• Information about guidelines and funding opportunities in European sport;
• Active participation and participation in the design process of sport in Europe.
With our regular newsletter in German, Polish, French and English, the network provides information about its diverse activities. This website provides news about the work of the network.
The comprehensive participation of German sport in the ongoing European unification process is another important task.
As a cultural link between the nations and the largest citizens’ movement in Europe, sport has a wide range of skills to actively help shape this development process. The European Network of the Academies of Sport has faced this challenge – and has been doing so since 1999. A wide range of activities and offers are also intended to contribute to a social and sustainable Europe.
As part of the commitment to Europe, regional and local developments and opportunities for participation are taken up in order to use them for the European integration process. The network was founded on January 29, 1999 in Trier by the European Academy of Rhineland-Palatinate Sports Trier and the European Academy of Sports Bocholt / Velen.
